Grégory Lemarchal
Grégory lemarchal was a French singer who rose to fame by winning the fourth series of the reality TV programme Star Academy France. He has a vigorous and penetrating voice, which really fits his songs. Unfortunately, he died at age of 23 of health complications while waiting in hospital for a lung transplant. A posthumous album, La Voix d'un ange, was released with profits going towards the Association Grégory Lemarchal charity. A compilation Rêves was released in 2009. He has sold more than 2 million albums.

Joyce Jonathan is a French singer born in 1989. Her first album Sur mes gardes went gold in May 2010 only five months after its release. Less than a year after, the album was certified platinum. January 23, 2011, she received the NRJ Music Awards of the Francophone Breakthrough of the Year.

Zehira Darabid (born on May 10, 1980), known by her artistic name Zaho, is an Algerian R&B singer. In 1999, she emigrated to Montreal. In 2008, Zaho represented Algeria in the 2008 MTV EMA's and won the Best African Artist award. She is well known in Algeria, France and French Canada.
